From a very young age, I have always loved to travel.  Anytime we would hop in the car or jump on a plane, it was like a new adventure off to a magical land.  From visiting the ocean where Ariel would breach the surface, or visiting a small cabin in the forest where the seven dwarfs may be hosting Snow White.  Travel was an opportunity for my imagination to run wild and for my dreams to take flight.

My favorite childhood memory was a visit to the most magical place on earth, Disneyland.  I was in awe meeting my hero, Mickey Mouse, for the first time, and I felt like a fairytale princess when I walked through Sleeping Beauty’s castle.  Even now as an adult, I always love returning to Disney and reverting back to my childhood days.  Whether it’s Disneyland or Walt Disney World, it feels like home and is my favorite place in the world.

As an adult, I have started to spread my wings and explore more of our own extraordinary world.  For the past couple of years, my husband and I have traveled all over the world from sipping gourmet wine in the beautiful Tuscan vineyards of Italy, stepping into the lifestyle of a hobbit in the mythical Shire of New Zealand, and cruising the Hawaiian Islands while learning the Hula.  I have barely grazed the surface of all the exciting places the world has to offer and I’m nowhere near done.  I want to live my life by my favorite motto, “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.”

Experiencing new places across the world is amazing but I also find so much joy in planning my adventures as well! I love researching all the potential experiences such as learning about history in a museum or partaking in a food tour to immerse myself into the local culture.  It’s exciting to create an itinerary for all the fun activities and I love seeing the excitement on the faces of those I’m traveling with too.  Planning is a hobby of mine and I ensure every little detail is in place in order to have the best vacation possible.
